Age Limit
Students must be 18 or over on the first day of the taught course.
Qualifications
Due to the academic level of the coursework, students are expected to be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths. They are also expected to have sufficient IT skills (word processor, e-mail, etc) to complete coursework. The student must have access to a computer that is connected to the Internet.
Experience
Applicants are expected to have experience of working with horses (eg, worked at stables, horse owner, etc.)
Nationality
Although the course is tailored to students working in the UK, we welcome overseas students provided they can attend all of the taught courses and their English is sufficiently good to allow them to take part fully in taught coursework and to complete their homework modules in English. The course will be modified to accommodate the individual needs of the student and their resulting qualification will be a Certificate in Equine Podiatry, instead of a Diploma.
