Students must be 18 or over on the first day of the taught course.
Due to the academic level of the coursework, students are expected to be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths. They are also expected to have sufficient IT skills (word processor, e-mail, etc) to complete coursework. The student must have access to a computer that is connected to the Internet.
Applicants are expected to have experience of working with horses (eg, worked at stables, horse owner, etc.)
Although the course is tailored to students working in the UK, we welcome overseas students provided they can attend all of the taught courses and their English is sufficiently good to allow them to take part fully in taught coursework and to complete their homework modules in English. The course will be modified to accommodate the individual needs of the student and their resulting qualification will be a Certificate in Equine Podiatry, instead of a Diploma. For more information, contact the course administrator.
Equine Podiatry Training Ltd welcomes applications from students with disabilities. However, successful applicants must have sufficient ability to safely and effectively trim a horse’s hooves.
To apply, students should fill in the application form which is included in the prospectus
